Using your time and talent without cost to serve others who are lonely or who are struggling physically or financially is the very essence of the biblical message.  Just reach out and let them know you're available if needed.

Here are a few ways you can help your neighbors: 

• Spend time with them

• Play cards and games

• Invite them to share a meal

• Light housework or repairs

• Help with lifting, carrying, or moving

• Cut their lawn or shovel snow

• Pressure spray concrete

If you are more mechanical, you could

• Hang pictures

• Mount shelves/TV stands

• Replace broken lights/ceiling fans

• Replace broken electrical switches/outlets

• Replace leaking fixtures

• Replace broken sprinkler heads
